Minimum HDB Rental Period in Singapore
The minimum HDB rental period is 6 months per tenant/application. Short-term HDB room or flat rental arrangements below that period are not allowed under current HDB open-market rental rules.

- Minimum: 6 months.
- Maximum per approval: generally 3 years where all tenants are Singaporeans or Malaysians.
- Where non-Malaysian non-citizens are involved, the maximum approval period is generally 2 years.
